Dillon brings a strong engineering and quantitative background to Greenwich Creek Capital, specializing in adaptive predictive control systems, AI-driven modeling, and optimization of dynamic real-world systems. He holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Iowa State University, where his research centered on advanced AI methodologies for modeling complex, dynamic processes—expertise that directly enhances GCCM's quantitative and data-driven investment approach.
At GCCM, Dillon develops, updates, optimizes, and rigorously back-tests all trading strategies powering GCCM's augmented investing process. Leveraging his deep experience in predictive modeling, systems optimization, and statistical analysis, he has introduced greater sophistication and robustness to these strategies, helping deliver consistent performance across market conditions.
Dillon also contributes to business development efforts, drawing on his entrepreneurial experience. Early in his career, he participated in multiple business accelerator programs through Iowa State University to launch startup ventures. He is Co-founder and President of Haber Technologies, Inc., an Ames, Iowa-based Agri-tech company focused on innovative agricultural solutions which was sold in 2024.
Dillon married his wife Maria in 2016, and they have four children. In his free time, he enjoys family-focused hobbies: building RC airplanes (including WWII models using 3D printing) with his sons during winter months, and staying active outdoors in warmer seasons through fishing, kayaking, riding, hunting, surfing, and other adventures.
